There Was a Group Hysteria
Hi, just got do e reading murder in Italy and the whole case seems bizarre to me, so illogical in the group sex thrill kill theory. Something I haven’t seen yet (mostly because I just started learning more about case) is the argument re how it makes absolutely no sense that Amanda and Rafaelle would have hung out at the house waiting around at their own crime scene. The “logical” reaction would be to distance yourself – like Rudy! – yet everyone reads so much into whether Meredith was covered up because the perp(s) knew her…yet these same experts don’t point out the unusual behavior of guilty parties hanging around nonchalantly after the crime. And why weren’t Amanda’s flatmates more helpful to her-that plus the British girls reading so much into Amanda’s character really reminded me of accounts of teenage girls at Salem witch trials. It’s like there was a group hysteria. I find it all bizarre!

Excellent, Annie. You called it the right way…
