FOUR MILLION  EURO GIRL

The Less She Could Get (as an Advance)

While a couple of prosecutors in a little town out of the history are still there, producing the same hate, the same boredom, the same conjectures about the same kitchen knife, and all their nonsense, the rest of the world, fortunately, goes ahead.
Amanda and her family didn’t probably care too much about the accusers’ last fires, and their unrealistic appeal to Supreme Court. While the losing prosecutors kept dreaming their dreams of hate, indeed, we can guess that the attention of the whole family was probably more focused on real things, such as an auction going on in New York among publishers, to get Amanda’s memoirs.
As the New York Times reported, giant publisher HarperCollins won the auction with a 3.8 million euro bid.
The amount appears to be only the advance, since all other conditions must be part of a detailed contract set up by Knox’s agent Bob Barnett. Amanda’s book is indeed considered a certain best seller, and in one or two years she should cash in much more thanks to percentage on sales, movie rights, etc.

ALL THEY HAVE DONE TO HER
Never a Clue Against Amanda Knox

As we know against Amanda there has never been a single real piece of evidence. The whole accusation was made of data written on pieces of paper by Mignini and his cops, along with conjectures.
There weren’t proofs of guilt at all, and an impressive series of mysterious “accidents” destroyed all proofs of innocence.
Besides having been held without a reason, and with the real murderer caught and convicted, Amanda was prevented from defending herself in court with the threat of Calumny charges brought by prosecutor and police. Even in jail she was wiretapped, her correspondence was controlled and often “lost”.
But now she can speak! Hopefully HarperCollins’ legal office doesn’t moderate her AT ALL, and you will know all that they have done to her.

New York the Reality, Perugia the imagination

Today a book, tomorrow who knows. History awaits new, unpredictable things from Amanda. And from them? New things of the same sort. New disasters, big and small. More ruined lives. More people who have done nothing: framed, persecuted, assaulted, beaten. More of the same method: people set one against the other, fake statements, fake testimonies, fake evidence, fake scientific evidence, cops who lie in court, missing recordings, “accidents” that coincidentally destroy all proofs of innocence, character assassination… oh, and: press conferences, of course. Because the heroes love to appear on TV. Due their job their face should be as unknown as possible but they call a press conference almost everyday…

Good, we need all this, to make things clearer.

Judges who will take care of them, indeed, need as much material as possible… So, let’s not tell them anything, let’s see them going on…

Excellent Amanda, you’ve been great, you deserve all this!

  2. Look at the way all of the others have responded. Now look at how Amanda has responded (and Raffaele for that matter). Basically she DIDN’T–and she didn’t demand this or that and she didn’t stand in a huff over her rights. She was stripped of all dignity by a bunch of liars and greedy sensationalistic Newspapers. And when she got home she didn’t smile for the camera’s (she hates those guys). She waited patiently and people, the right people, sought HER out wanting to hear her story–HER side. She IS smart. Others could learn from her….

For example, Patrick, in his anger of what was done to him- has gone on and on…let’s see, 2 weeks vs. 4 yrs. His response vs. her response. He blames Amanda (at first, understandably) for putting him there and yet if he took 2 seconds and thought about it (just 2 seconds) he would know good and well what happened to Amanda. If, instead of accusing and complaining, and demanding, he had stopped and thought about his experience and then put himself in the shoes of Amanda he would know the truth. Maybe he does and just “can’t go there”. They got a false confession and he can’t even stop and think enough to realize this? He COULD, but he wants his money!!! Boy, they all do. I guess it’s all in how you go about things…the one’s who try don’t always succeed and the one’s who don’t sometimes win very big.
Responses are EVERYTHING-how we respond. And the winner is….

  3. I’m happy for her. Hope she does a book tour.

Here’s also hoping that Raffaele …and Frank, have similar good fortune.

  4. The least she could get indeed, Frank. I for one am delighted for her. Michellesings has also put it very eloquently.

  5. syftesfel says:

This is a great day, and you’ve helped make it happen Frank. Many thanks from Sweden!

  6. libreski says:

It’s great news about the book deal. She deserves it.
Frank, when are you going to tell us more about the tapes? You’re not hanging on to them hoping to negotiate $8m are you? LOL.
    Stay safe.

    • perugiashock says:

I said it, according to the information I have from my sources the tapes exist. If it’s the way it was the other times (the DNA, the starch, etc.) it will be true this time too. I guess they will come out at the right moment…

  7. Sienna Reid says:

Hi Frank! How are you! I have loved all your recent posts.
So glad to hear it. So what is the word in Perugia? Will everyone be jumping on the bandwagon to try to sue her now? Will the petty cops be filing more lawsuits against Amanda because she is going to tell the truth about them???

Thank goodness this book deal news has come out to counter the idiocy of the Mignini hate team filing their petty little lawsuits to try to cover their own asses. So is the document they filed requesting the retrial of Amanda available? Can you post it Frank?

BTW Barbie Nadeau changed the title of her book (no longer the True Story) and no copies are available on Amazon anymore. It is now called: Angel Face: Sex, Murder and the Inside Story of Amanda Knox . There are 98 used copies for sale and no new ones. I wonder if she an Mignini are still having their tea parties…

I am still working on my project. Would love to collaborate on a few things. Will contact you later.

    Ciao! Sienna

  8. I can’t wait to get the book, I don’t care how much it costs it’ll be my contribution to her future security. And if the money goes to repay the family’s cost fine, I will be one of the first in the queue.

  9. struoc says:

    the tape exists……

this is bigger than the book deal, imo.

  10. All your articles are great Frank. I’m very happy Amanda was able to land a nice deal and looking forward to reading her book.

I read on Stefano Nazzi’s blog that Alberto Stasi got 30 days and a 2450 euro fine for possession of certain illegal images on his computer. I’m wondering if this was real or planted evidence. Any thoughts?

    • perugiashock says:

This is part of the character assassination they do it when they try to frame people.
If in the computer there is exonerating evidence an accident happens and the computer gets burnt.
Otherwise they find porn pictures, preferably pedophilia or bestiality… I happens ALL THE TIME! Who doens’t have a porn picture in the hard disk, in the cache, somewhere in the system?.. A computer is a computer, it goes anywhere on internet. You just need to look and you’ll find something so… dirty…
In his case it was even canceled stuff. I hope they acquit him in appeal…

    • perugiashock says:

Who, btw, Stefano Nazzi? The friend of Mignini?
It’s nice for a poor prosecutor who likes to throw lovebirds in jail to see that in the difficult moments there are journalists who support him.
Here is how Stefano Nazzi defended Mignini: http://www.kronaka.it/2011/05/17/il-delitto-di-perugia-le-offese-e-il-diritto-di-critica/

      • pigsticker says:

Stefano Nazzi? What kind of name is that? Although if you remove one of the Z’s you got one word that aptly describes Mignini & Company.

  11. pigsticker says:

When that book comes out, I’m definitely buying a copy

  12. billydelyon says:

Whats the story with this John Follain and his book about this case, wasn’t he one of Migini’s minions also??

  13. Patrick King says:

    As always, great article, Frank.

  14. Rick Bonin says:

Frank, your unwavering and courageous support of this young woman and her family is much appreciated by those who care about a just world. I sincerely hope that someday you too benefit from all of your hard work and the risks you have taken.

  15. perugiashock says:

Thank you all. I just tell people what happens.

If there was a knife with blood on it in Raffaele’s pocket I would have said it as well. But there wasn’t anything of the sort.
If Amanda had gone to the police station and said Good evening, I have to report Patrick Lumumba because he killed my friend, I would have said it as well. But nothing of the sort happened.

  16. Liam Brennan says:

Thanks Frank, for your courage, your humour and for restoring my faith in Italy. Having lived near Florence for ten years, I was horrified at the seemingly unstoppable rise of the Maestro of Mendacity, and how his frenzied urgency for a conviction convinced a string of gullible judges,

I only hope that he and his dark hearted cohorts will be exposed and crucified by the very gutter press they courted in order to damn Amanda and Raffaele.

Now that would be true justice!

  17. To be honest, I am a bit worried that Amanda is just too nice to tell the whole ugly story. Regardless, I will buy it the day it comes out. I kind of hope she doesn’t make an extensive book tour and limits it to television networks and other places that have good security. Too many crazies out there who are obsessed with her guilt, even though their obsession flies in the face of the facts.

    • perugiashock says:

The whole ugly story MUST be told. They ruined her life, they keep ruining other lives, convinced to be untouchable. Amanda has to send that gang to jail. Not only for having justice herself, even to save their other victims.

Crazies obsessed with her guilt? I see only people stopped at the accusation news of the beginning. They will understand little by little…

  18. g3ssycat says:

Stefano Nazzi is a laugh, I wonder what other Italian journalist think of Frank, not that it would matter. Journalist who have had the opportunity to have a word against the injustice in Amanda’s and Raffaele’s case and of the corrupt actions and abuse of power of Magnini and team, that have chosen not to out of fear or whatever lame reason, are midgets standing next to Frank. Would have liked to see their face when Perugia Shock got right back online. (hurray to the person who made that possible!)

  19. g3ssycat says:

If Amanda and Raffaele had not been put in jail for 4 years while being innocent, if they had not lived through the 4 year long horror of being in prison for a crime they did not commit, if they had not had to face the nightmare of having to defend themselves in court against a lying bunch who were out to lynch them no matter what…They would not have anything to write about.

What Frank says is so true, just as everything else he says…They need to write their stories for many reasons, above all so that the truth may be known in order to help all others who have been or are still in prison for a crime they did not commit, and to shut the mouths and cuff the hands of all those who participate in incarcerating innocent people.

    Go Amanda!

  20. struoc says:

Amanda and Raffaele will tell of the nightmare from inside it, but the perfect storm that was swallowing them, could only be seen from others, like yourself Frank, outside.

but I still wonder , going waaaaay back in time, before the interrogation, there was Edgaro Giobbi.

The big fish from Rome, The Serious Squad, who the locals would look up to, I imagine. Is this a correct perception?

Question 2+: Was he looked up to as a higher power than Migninni and the locals in Perugia?
Is the Serious Squad similar to the US FBI?

……before Nov 5/6, Edgardo was already planning his fast method of determining guilt. similar to a profiler, it seems.

Question 3: When exactly did Edgardo arrive? (Nov 2nd Nov 3rd? 4th?) Was he there when all the friends and others were called in Nov 2 evening until 3rd morning?

Is it Edgardo who opens the door to the “reality tv show nightmare” as Raffaele called it.?

bfore Nov 5/6 Edgardo, returned to the cottage with Amanda, and she put on the shoe covers, she acted wrong, supposedly, per Edgardo (who was watching her, because thats how he knows who is guilty. Amanda would be cluless to know how Serious Edgardo was.)
Raffaele was somewhere else, with Kate Mansey, maybe, on this day of the 3rd or 4th.

so is it correct to think,
soon, Nov 5th, Edgardo would be at the Questura/police station, the interrogation was to be orchestrated, and Edgardo Giobbi stated he ordered both them in the evening of the 5th.
He had made his mind up obviously, using his profiling that Raffaele and Amanda were the guilty ones.

Then the 36 gathered, Nov 5/6, they only needed to break the ones he chose, and the few powerful police in the other secret room watched on tv and heard screaming.

is this correct? or have I placed the Serious Crime Squad, as too important?

    • perugiashock says:

Yes, he was probably what they wanted to become. And they had a chance, by solving that case maybe.

No it’s not that established, as FBI is. Today there is, tomorrow there could not be.

      I think Nov 3.

What you mean it’s Edgardo to open the door. He is just the same as every other cop: people of a very low level, especially when they are chiefs, especially when they have titles. They always get it wrong. The only think they are able to do is suspect of the person who is right there. If you do something they think is strange they suspect you… If you don’t do anything they suspect you… They are not very bright people. Nothing like the cops you see in the movies… They need a prosecutor (who is a judge) to drive them. When even the prosecutor is just like them…. it’s the end. Everyone opened the door. Especially the prosecutor, who was the highest person present.

      • struoc says:

thanks for explaining the characters in more detail, it helps to understand.

it makes more sense now that Migninni was always wanting to be filmed and on tv…to explain “his” case, not the squads case.

very different than the US, but people are people so thats similar.
we have interrogations too, profilers…etc..etc…overzealous cops, good cops, bad cops…good apples, bad apples…

even with teenagers, over one spinello, as they call it in this case… one doobie, one joint, one reefer, one misdemeanor of nothing…….
and there is sometimes an interrogation without the parents present, without anyone, and the cop with a black ski mask on screams threats of rape in jail for the stoned reefer teen, unless the kid tells them what they want to hear, which is the Drug Bust of the Century…so they can go catch bigger cartels and win accolades, and become famous. often the police just take the reefer and dont write a ticket, those cops are more mellow.

  21. Frank,
Be careful. Remember: A free press is as easily destroyed as it is difficult to rebuild an honest judicial system.
