KNOX’S DEFENSE: “THE POLICE ARE GOOD, ONLY SOME COPS ARE CRIMINALS”

NEW “ACCIDENT” EXPOSED: 29 WIRETAPPED CALLS BETWEEN AMANDA AND RAFFAELE “LOST”

Telling it Right

Luca Maori between Amanda and Raffaele

For the Meredith Kercher case there have been 39,952 wiretapped calls. A huge cost that the Italians pay. And for what? “For insulting people”, is the answer Sollecito’s lawyer Luca Maori gave.

Wiretapping works like this: they listen to a conversation, then they write a short note aimed to describe the content of it.

The notes for some conversations between Raffaele’s ants and stepmother were read this morning by Raffaele’s lawyer Giulia Bongiorno: “Fanno le stronze” (They are being two pieces of shit). Or “Sempre le 2 vipere, vogliono fare un comunicato stampa” (The two vipers again, they want to do a press release). Or “Sono le due cretine” (They are the two cretins). Or “Ridete, ridete… ride bene chi ride ultimo” (Laugh, laugh… he who laughs last, laughs best).
Signed Monica Napoleoni and Lorena Zugarini.

In the police there are people like this. People like this –who don’t just work but who seem to hate other people– run criminal cases, store evidence, carry a gun. Our privacy, our lives, our freedom are in the hands of people like this.

Let’s see what happened to evidence that was in the hands of these people.
A simple call to 112 made by two kids who had a problem became a call made “after the arrival of the police”. A classic. But that was certainly a mistake…
An important sweatshirt was lost. But it was certainly a mistake…
A shoe-print besides Meredith’s body was read as Raffaele’s. But it was certainly a mistake…
A shoe-print on the pillow was read as Amanda’s. But it was certainly a mistake.
The tape of the interrogation of the century was lost. But it was certainly a mistake…
Four hard drives have been burned. But it was certainly four accidents…
On a bra clasp and on a knife was found some DNA that doesn’t fit any logical explanation. But it was certainly a contamination…
The signature of the murderer, the semen stain, was forgot. But it was certainly a mistake…

And there’s more. The police gave the tapes with the wiretapped calls to the defense, but 29 calls between Amanda and Raffaele and between Raffaele and his dad, Maori revealed today, were missing.
Another accident? Another mistake?

What is your bet, that just in those conversations Amanda and Raffaele were saying how they killed Meredith? Or were they saying something that was proving they didn’t have anything to do with the crime?

Editing the Right Way

One moment, there are also phenomena of “editing”, as recalled again by Maori. I’m trying to read them as mistakes but it’s hard there..

The message was saying “Ci vediamo più tardi, buona serata”. But they told the judge that it was only “Ci vediamo più tardi”. Can it be a mistake?

“13 October 2006″, Raffaele writes on his blog that he was having strong emotions (his mother was just dead, etc.). But they gave to judge Matteini a copy of the page without the year, only “13 Ottobre”. So Matteini thought that Raffaele was having strong emotions right on those days before the murder. Also this editing was by mistake?
Are we still sure that the translator who translated Foxy Knoxy with Volpe Cattiva (Evil Fox) was just a bad translator?  Or someone told him to translate that way?
Are we still sure that the DNA came from a contamination? And twice!

THE PERSECUTION

There has been obstinacy in building the case against Amanda and Raffaele, Maori finally explained.
The cops said that “a source” told them that Raffaele was cutting girls in Puglia. And they went to Puglia, but they didn’t find any cut girl. And someone bought the story of the “source”…
The cops tried to say that Raffaele’s mother had committed suicide, so to make people think he could have an hereditary madness. But Raffaele’s mother died of cerebral hemorrhage!
They have been able to use even the death of a mother.

It seems that we have enough. It seems that we have all been a bunch of morons.
Were we right in having respect for these people? Was America right in not going in with tanks and flame-throwers?

See John, Steffy, Arline? These are the people who are so kind with you, who are so close to you (even too close somethimes, right Steffy?).

You can figure  who you can thank if the myth of Foxy Knoxy was built, if you have been hating the wrong persons, if you have been wasting all your money.

I am happy that some of them keeps making crimes, against me now. The more they do the better judges will understand. Amanda and Raffaele will be acquitted. Edda and Curt will be acquitted. I will be acquitted. All other proceedings against journalists Mignini started have already been closed.

And the trials will be for someone else.

THE JAIL IS CLOSE
And not for Amanda and Raffaele

The schedule is being respected. No court tomorrow. Thursday Amanda’s lawyers will take the stand. Friday the rebuttals. Half an hour for each of the three prosecutors and each of the about seven attorneys. So they could be done in one day. Saturday could be left only for the statements by Amanda and Raffaele and the jury could go to the chamber, to come back in the evening with the verdict.

“They Drawn her as Jessica Rabbitt”
Giulia Bongiorno with Luca Maori

The great prosecutors, the Neapolitan-in-chief and the two Perugians, managed to make another joke to the jury.
First I have to tell you: yesterday they absolutely wanted to produce a sentence that, in their opinion, would have guaranteed the life sentence for the two.

To have value of law a sentence must be from Supreme Court, preferably from the United Sections of Supreme Court. Their sentence wasn’t from the United Sections, wasn’t from any Section of Supreme Court. It was not even from a Corte d’Assise d’Appello (like the one we are now). It was from a Corte d’Assise of a llittle town in Calabria! So the great trio wanted Hellmann and Zanetti to learn from lower judges! (and from an obscure town).
Hellmann yesterday said no. But today, as soon as the hearing started, he announced that the trio had sneaked it anyway in the middle of their report!

So Hellmann today said “guess what, dear prosecutors, we noticed that you sneaked the sentence in anyway, but we are going to trash it…”.

Unbelievable. We thought they were serious persons. We give them about 100,000 euro a year.

Anyway, after days of stuttering people, today finally a real lawyer spoke.
It has been a pleasure listening to Giulia Bongiorno demolishing the case only with the strength of intelligence and respect (which, if you think about that, are the same thing).

She completely ridiculed the Prosecution assertions and Massei’s reconstruction of the crime, kind of what I more humbly tried to do with a stupid piece, Conquered by this theory, below.

Bongiorno explained how Amanda was attacked, in that police station, and brought to release a false confession of the third kind (when the person gets to the point of believing what she falsely confesses).  Bongiorno explained they set up a character assassination and absolutely tried to make Amanda appear like a men eater, a Venus in fours, a dominatrix, commanding men with her whip.
But Amanda is the farthest thing from that. In truth she is just like Jessica Rabbit, who says “I’m not bad, they just draw me that way”…
What a shame that besides drawing her they have also been driving her into a jail. A favour to be returned soon.

Raffaele’s lawyers asked the acquittal and reported for slander Rudi Guede (who risks now a minimum of four more years), Kokomani (the one who said to have seen Raffaele, Rudi and Amanda-with-knife outside the cottage), and Giuffredi (who said to have seen the double couple outside the cottage: Amanda and Raffaele, Meredith and Rudi).
He can thank Mignini, who convinced him to testify…

Lorena Zugarini…havent heard that name for a long time.

She’s the one who opens doors with her feet?

  3. So Hellmann today said “guess what, dear prosecutors, we noticed that you sneaked the sentence in anyway, but we are going to trash it…”.

What a great way for these geniuses to endear themselves with the judge. Is there any boundary they won’t dare to cross?

…but nice catch by judge Hellmann. All signs point to the fact the he is part of the solution for the coming days and …hopefully (and fortunately for Italy)…into the future. Also, I hope he is a mentor to some of the next generation of judges. Integrity…there is no substitute.

    Your thoughts?

  4. Ray Turner says:

It’s always something new in this case. Jesus…..

  5. 29 missing phone calls, eh? Disgusting. Thanks for another great report, Frank. You’re a hero.

  6. Gina Vasak says:

Italian justice? What a joke! It’s disgusting.

  7. So Hellmann today said “guess what, dear prosecutors, we noticed that you sneaked the sentence in anyway, but we are going to trash it…”. – Can’t the prosecution lose their job for this? Isn’t going against court order… I think they called it Contempt of court? Shouldn’t they get arrested for that?

  8. g3ssycat says:

Frank your incredible! Its amazing how you do it. From all those reporting, no one says it like you and above all nobody has had the courage to say all you say. Amanda and Rafaelle and their families (and all of us who read you) are lucky you have been on this case since day 1.

  9. bmnyc says:

My question is who is wire tapping Mignini?

  10. These prosocutors are vicious they are mad like raving dogs at the throats of Amanda
and Raf they do not seem interested in the truth only in mantianing the guity verdict that
should have never been in the first place.

  11. siennareid says:

Thank you Frank. Thank you for continuing your coverage. For not even being a journalist (as the anti-Knox campaigners like to call you), you have made amazing points from the beginning.

I hope that the defense was able to get across to the jury that Amanda was branded by the cops and the prosecution from the beginning before any CSI or DNA evidence came back. She was called a witch in the beginning and Italian papers used the word Strega. Then all the papers started picking up from their lead. There was no evidence she or Raffaele were involved. The police hammered her about whether she knew anyone black. This was because they found a black man’s hair at the scene of the crime. They had already seen Amanda’s text message to her boss, who was black (Lumumba). They hammered at her until they got her to imagine a scene in which he killed Meredith. They used that as evidence (her imagined scene) to throw Lumumba in jail even though he had an alibi, for two weeks. That is being used against Amanda- coercion by the police to name someone they suspected. If they had waited to get the DNA and CSI evidence (specifically fingerprints) they would have had their man- Rudy Guede.

I have compiled this list since the beginning, when I started following the case, when Amanda was thrown in jail, of the names that Amanda Knox has been called. Please note that no one called Raffaele these kinds of names, (who is also not tied to the crime scene by evidence in any way but was convicted along with her), and Rudy Guede who was the only person tied to the crime by CSI and DNA evidence, the clear perpetrator, was never called any names like these.

These are direct quotes from what the prosecution, lawyers and cops stooped to in order to convince the jury that Amanda Knox is a killer (i.e.in lieu of evidence). From the beginning there was a purposeful campaign of propaganda released in court and to the press by the prosecution to brand Amanda as an evil killer:

Whore, Witch, Angel Face, Diavola (she devil), Temptress, Smelled like sex, Lilith, Jezebel, Slut, Half Demon, Dirty inside and out, Diabolical, Party Girl, Evil, Violent, Dangerous, Jealous, Mean, Uncaring, Evil Incarnate, Compulsive liar, Evil Fox, Sex crazed killer, Lesbian, Icicle Eyes, Graphomaniac, Demonic, Satanic, Diabolical She Devil, Promiscuous, Witch of Deception, (wears a) Mask of Deception, Mask of an imposter, Cunning, Muddy on the outside, Dirty on the inside, Actress, Likes hot wild sex, Histrionic, Face of a naive doll, Slovenly, coming from a family of Nazi propagandists, Spell casting witch, virtuoso of deception, dissolute, Half Maria Goretti, Half Demon.

This is what the people who KNOW Amanda, including her friends, teachers, and family, say about her:

Studious, Caring, Volunteer, Hardworking, Independent, Fun, Affectionate, Smart, Loyal, Healthy, Uber-nice, Trusting, Unconventional, Harmless, Goofy, Naive, Resilient, Forgiving, Happy go Lucky, Natural, Sensitive, Longing to undo evil in the world, Naturally beautiful, Hippie, Saint, Charming, Astute, Sweet, Simple, Magnetic, Disciplined, Dilligent, Good.

The trial since the beginning has revolved around slanderous character assassination. Those terms are used when someone does not have any convincing evidence to tie someone to a crime. They are historic words, many of which were used for centuries to try people and convict and execute them of crimes that could not be proved in reality, such as witchcraft. They reveal a travesty of justice. You have helped to reveal the travesty of justice Frank. That is why they fear you and attack you- because you stand for justice and they don’t.

  12. atbay1 says:

You know, it’s kind of ironic that the hikers in Iran who may have breeched some Iranian law, are released in two years, while this innocent woman and her friend languish in prison while Italy dawdles out her appeal trial for a year!

What’s up with this “one or two” days a week trial schedule? Thank God and the founding fathers for our Constitution and it’s speedy trial provisions. Yes, Hellman seems good, but considering the length of the retrial he should have granted monitored bail.

And the ultimate turning logic on it’s head–arguing for a life sentence because the prosecution can find no motive for the crime, so therefor the defendants are more deserving of punishment!

Hey, they bought what Mussolini was selling, these idiots are not too reasonable.

  13. speri337 says:

Propagandic adjectives should not be allowed in court! Ridiculous

  14. randy2438 says:

    Nice work Frank,

I sure hope a giant new agency picks up your work some day soon.

Will the news in Italy ever get the story of the almost 40,000 wire tapped calls? If I were a citizen I would be outraged over this vendetta like behavior. Who authorizes this type of invasion into the private lives of citizens? Who pays for this ? It certainly must cost a small fortune to do this. Does Italy even spend this much effort on intercepting suspicious calls of terrorists? All for this one murder? So very odd.

I hope tomorrow Amandas lawyers ask for charges to be brought for all those who have slandered and abused her. That list would take days just to read aloud.

Italian courts seem to have a strange acceptance of prosecutorial misconduct …in our country if a prosecutor tried to sneak something into a case such as these misfits did then they would be immediately jailed and the case would be dismissed. But Italy seems to simply brush off such felony…odd.

Finally a local story for you Perugia Shock…In my small town here in PA I was called to court by a man who claimed I trespassed onto his property and that I did so after he had clearly put up signs of “No Trespassing”. The man even had the police in court as witness (policeman was forced there by this man) to state that he saw the signs. This man was an Italian immigrant from the town of ….Calabria.

As the trial began and after the judge listened to this man for a short time he stopped him and ask him how many times now he had come before this court against others? The man couldn’t recall. More than 100 times the judge replied…and its ENOUGH! And the Calabrian man was dismissed without one word from me.

No relevance here except to note what a small world we sometimes live in. BTW…the man was angry at me because I cut the grass past his line by about a foot. He was a disturbed individual. I soon moved out of that neighborhood…Calibabra…I laughed when you wrote about that.

The prosecutor who tried to sneak that in should be jailed. I have heard that a citizen judge (juror) discovered this file that was hidden in the case.

The judges announcement of a Saturday decision can only mean that the defendants will be found innocent. Hopefully Amanda will be safe in her home by Sunday. Then she will only have to fear the guilters and hate sites such as PMF and TJMK one of which is run by a Seattle resident named Ganong and is moderated by a UW employee nicknamed Fly By Night. I hope the police and FBI put a close watch on these haters. They obviously have serious mental issues and an agenda against Amanda.

I wonder how the Kerchers feel about their daughters memory as displayed by their own hired hand Maresca yesterday? I imagine it is simply a matter of time now before these gruesome shots appear on the internet. And why? What proof did they show? Every thinking person understands Maresca did this to shock the jurors and perhaps create a hate against the defendants…but these judges already know the defendants are innocent. And its too late to do anything more to the real killer Rudy Guede. He will out and roaming Perugia streets soon again. Mignini and company should be proud of such good work…only 100 thousand??? Give him a raise and a medal….FOOLS!

  15. Hi Frank,

I am thinking about showing my support for AK & RS at the appeal reading! When is it; 03.10.2011?

I working here in Munich, and would be only about one hour flight.

What is the court situation like? I see both AK & RS innocent. Can I get into the Court?

    Best regards,

    Michael Pennington

  16. perugiashock says:

Most likely the verdict comes on Saturday evening, and it’s broadcasted live… It will be a mess… There will be a wall of cameramen in the courtroom, it will be impossible to hear or see anything…

  17. siennareid says:

Shocking to see the incredibly “professional” behavior of Zugarini and Napoleoni. No, they never had any prejudice. They certainly never had an agenda….and they certainly believe that one is innocent until proven guilty.

  18. perugiashock says:

HELLMANN JUST SET LAST HEARING AND VERDICT DAY FOR MONDAY OCTOBER 3.

VERDICT TO COME IN THE EVENING.
